The Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and Support Staff at Southern Tier Pediatrics are dedicated to the delivery of quality healthcare to all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. PAYMENT POLICY

Like other businesses in our community, our practice is confronted with increasing costs for postage, billing supplies, and services we us in providing professional care to your children.

It has always been a policy of Southern Tier Pediatrics to collect payment on the date of service. You can help keep our costs down as much as possible by paying your children’s services as you check out. Our receptionists have been asked to collect payment at the time of service for the following:

1. CO-PAYMENTS DUE
2. DEDUCTIBLE AMOUNTS DUE
3. BALANCES DUE AFTER INSURANCE (usually 20%)
4. Office visits are to be PAID IN FULL for self-paying patients and patients with HSA’S and high-deductible self-funded plans
5. Office visits to be PAID IN FULL for patients with non-participating insurance companies

For your convenience, we do accept…
CASH, CHECK, VISA, and MASTERCARD

If you are truly unable to comply with this policy or have no insurance coverage, we invite you to discuss your situation privately with Emma, our Family Accounts Specialist. She will be glad to work with you on an individual basis. You may reach Emma at (607)-734-3252, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Our Business Office is open Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to answer billing or insurance questions.
